Day 1 Athens – Portaria (310 km)

Today we take our bikes and leave behind the city of Athens to head to the island of Evia via Chalkis. We will ride north till we reach the Saint John the Russian Monastery, where we’ll have a short stop. We’ll enjoy a great seaside route via Limni, Rovies and Aidipsos before we reach in Agiokampos. Here we’ll take the ferry to cross to Glyfa in the regional unit of Fthiotis. The next attraction is Zerelia Twin Lake complex. The final destination of the day is the traditional village of Portaria located in the mountainous region of Pelion in Magnesia.

Day 2 Portaria – Portaria (144 km)

After breakfast we take our bikes and head to visit the stunning Rooftile and Brickworks museum in Volos. Then we’ll visit Milies and Tsagkarada, one of the most picturesque villages in Greece. The next destination is the beautiful Mylopotamos beach. We’ll continue riding via Zagora and Chania before we return back into our hotel. Overnight and dinner in Portaria.

Day 3 Portaria - Meteora (333 km)

Today we wake up early and head towards Thessaly. We’ll enjoy a spectacular route overlooking Mount Olympus on our way to the famous Geopark of Bouharia. A rock formation that is commonly known as the Greek Cappadocia due to its resemblance with the unique site found in Turkey.

Day 4 Kastraki – Elati (145 km)

Today is a wonderful day as we’ll visit Meteora - the biggest and most important group of monasteries in Greece after those in Mount Athos. We will visit the monasteries and the area extensively. Then we will visit the Natural History and Mushroom museum before arriving to Elati via a splendid route of stunning beauty. We will see the famous arched bridges of Puli and Sarakina, the valleys of Pertouli and the amazing waterfall of Palaiokarya.

Day 5 Kalabaka – Trikala (200 km)

Today we continue our journey to see the impressive Lake Plastira with the homonyms Dam. The landscape is breathtaking and offers plenty of choices and activities to spend a great time. You can enjoy a simple walk on the lake shore, try horse riding or archery! On our way to Trikala we’ll stop to see the Monasteries of Pelekiti and Koroni, the village of Mersenikolas with its accessible winery. Overnight and dinner in Trikala.

Day 6 Trikala - Athens (390 km)

In the last day of our journey we will follow provisional routes towards Thermopylae and the statue of King Leonidas. Then we will arrive in the traditional village of Velitsa, via one of the most appreciated motorcycle routes. We can’t return back to Athens before we visit the famous stone built houses, the ancient fortified wall and fortress, the gorge of Kahala and the aesthetic forest of Tithorea (Natura Park 2000).
