Day 1: Johannesburg to Dinokeng Game Reserve via Cullinan (136 km)
Today is the first day of your journey. You will take your bike and start the adventure with a wonderful trip to the Victorian Village of Cullinan. Here you’ll enjoy a tour of Cullinan Diamond Mine, the most popular attraction in Cullinan. This is the historical place where was found the world’s largest diamond in 1905. You will admire the exhibits of some fine examples of classic Architecture that has survived the ages as well as many other historical and cultural attractions. You continue riding until we reach Dinokeng to experience the historic home of the Sammy Marks Museum and a big 5 Game Reserve. You’ll end the day with a safari game drive in the late afternoon.
Day 2: Dinokeng Game Reserve to Magoebaskloof (320 km)
Today you take your bike and head to the land of Magoebaskloof in Limpopo Province where mountain meets river, home of the legendary rain queen. You will enjoy a visit to the wildlife rehabilitation center and the Elephant Museum. You’ll experience the thrill of sliding through the amazing forest. You’ll remain overnight in Magoebaskloof.
Day 3: Magoebaskloof to Hazyview (260 km)
Sun is up. Today you will ride until Hazyview, small farming town in Mpumalanga. You continue the road till Sabie, the main hub in Mpumalanga for Adventures and Activities. It is also known as a motorcyclist’s paradise. Here you’ll enjoy a charming tour to the Sabie Valley Coffee plant to see the complete method of manufacturing coffee and of course to take the aromatic coffee home. You’ll take a visit to Shangana Cultural Village where local crafts people work and trade their crafts at the busy African market. You’ll have a great time riding through amazing ravine areas, indigenous bush and farmlands in and around the beautiful Sabie River Valley. You’ll spend the night at the luxury stay at the Hippo Hollow Country Estate Hotel on the banks of the Sabie River.
Day 4: Hazyview / Hazyview (40 km)
Today you will start the day with visit at the Echo Caves located in the Molopong Valley. Echo Caves have sheltered humans since the Middle Stone Age and continues to protect some of most inspiring ancient San Rock Engravings. You will ride on the beautiful Robbers pass and experience the historical gold mining town of Pilgrims Rest. We’ll spend the afternoon in Graskop to admire the most cherished scenes in Southern Africa. Our adventure will take you on the Panorama Route through the Pinnacle, God’s Window, Wonder View, Lisbon Falls, Berlin Falls, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, Mac Mac Falls. the Three Rondawels. You’ll also see the amazing Blyde River Canyon - the world’s largest green canyon and plenty more. Surely will be a great day. As the sun sets you will return to Hazyview to spend the night.
Day 5: Hazyview to Johannesburg (450 km)
Today is the last day of your journey. After breakfast, you take your bike and ride though Long Tom Pass on your way back to Johannesburg. The pass is located between Lydenburg and Sabie and passes the summit of Mauchsberg at its highest point at an altitude of 2150 m above sea level. The road will take you through tight corners, sharp climbs and breathtaking landscapes.
