Day 1 Santiago - Calama
Today you will fly from the capital Santiago to Calama, northern Chile. Here you will be picked up and taken to your accommodation. We also have a welcome dinner where will discuss the details of the tour.
Day 2 Calama – Ollagüe 410 km
Today we take our bikes and head to Ollagüe, 3.500 m.s.n.m. 210 km. pavement and 200 km on gravel roads. After a long day, we’ll recharge our batteries with BBQ (Asado) the South American way in a great wild camp .
Day 3: Ollagüe – Uyuni 250 km
After breakfast, it’s time to more riding. Today we’ll discover the world's largest salt flat - "Uyuni Salt Flat" or better known as Salar de Uyuni. This amazing area of the salt covers a surface of 10.582 Km2 at an altitude of amazingly 3.653 meters above sea level. This stunning region of volcanic lands creates breathtaking landscapes so be sure that you have your camera with you.
Day 4: Uyuni- Uyuni
We hope that you have your batteries fully charges because today will experience extreme conditions in Uyuni, from freezing night temperatures to the desert baking sun. Salar de Uyuni has one of the most stunning views a desert in the entire world. Here you have the chance to get the silence no other place can ever offer you. After a great day, we will spend a silent night in the wild camping on the Uyuni.
Day 5: Uyuni-Potosi 250 km
Today we take our bikes and head to the old Potosi - one of the highest cities in the world. The city became famous after rich silver deposits were discovered in the Cerro Rico. Today Potosi is a quiet town with beautiful old houses and narrow streets. In 1987 the city was inscribed on the World Heritage List by UNESCO.
Day 6: Potosi - Potosi
Today we’ll have plenty time to discover the city of Potosi. The city became famous due to the silver extraction in the Cerro Rico. From then many churches and elegant mansions were built in the entire town.
Day 7: Potosi – 520 km
Today is time to leave the historic city of Potosi behind and head to Cochabamba - the capital of the valleys of Bolivia. On our way to the final destination will enjoy 420 km on pavement am 100 km on gravel road.
Day 8 Santa Cruz 420 km
After a tasty breakfast, we take our bikes and will enjoy a great ride on paved road on the way to Santa Cruz.
Day 9 Santa Cruz – Santa Cruz
Today we’ll discover the beautiful town of Santa Cruz de la Sierra. If you prefer the urban area you can spend a great time at the Cabins of Piraí - one of the many charming corners in Santa Cruz, a perfect place for a laid-back day. If you are fascinated by history you can visit some of the Jesuit missions located close to the city or the sanctuary of Cotoca. Don’t miss the pre-incas ruins of Saimapata. Surely deserves a visit.
Day 10: Santa Cruz - Cochabamba
Today we leave behind the beautiful city of Santa Cruz and head for Cochabamba, the capital of the flowers. Near the city, we’ll find plenty interesting cultural places and of course we’ll enjoy the delicious gastronomy that made Bolivia famous.
Day 11: Cochabamba – La Paz 440 km
Today is time to discover the impressive capital of Bolivia- the beautiful city La Paz. Founded in 1548 the city has plenty attractions that worth be seen such as churches, museums and open air markets. The most interesting museums are the home of Pedro Murillo, a hero of the Bolivian independence, the Gold Museum, the Art Museum and Tambo Quirquincho.
Day 12 La Paz - The North Yungas Road
Today will be an adventurous day as we pass the most dangerous road in the world - The North Yungas Road also named the Death Road.
Day 13 Yungas – Lake Titicaca 250 km
Today we’ll visit the beautiful Lake Titicaca, located at the highland of Bolivia and Peru, which act as a natural border between both countries. In the Bolivian area, the islands of El Sol, Suriki and Kalahuta are rural but amazing places, in which the features of the old Andean cultures can still be perceived. Also in the lake surroundings, may be found the bucolic town of Copacabana, home of the miraculous Virgen Morena.
Day 14 Lake Titicaca-Arica 500 km
After breakfast, we take our bikes and head to the beautiful city of Arica, the northernmost city in Chile located a few kilometers away from the border to Peru. Arica is a great destination famous for its surfing beaches. The location of the city is a perfect combination of the roughness of the Pacific Ocean, the aridness of the desert and the majestic traits of the altiplano summer. We’ll end this amazing journey in the late afternoon with a goodbye dinner.
