Day 1 CHIANG MAI TO NAN.

Today we leave Chiang Mai and head to explore some amazing roads that are all over Northern Thailand. We’ll stop for lunch in Phayao. Before we reach the final destination of the day – Nan will enjoy a great scenic route. Overnight will be in Nan.

DAY 2 NAN LOOP.

Today we’ll spend the day riding around the Nan area. We’ll discover amazing routes with stunning landscapes. Nan is the provincial capital and has a river running through so here will find plenty possibilities to spent a great time.

DAY 3 NAN - CHIANG KHONG.

After breakfast we take our bikes and head to the legendary 1148 road. Here we’ll enjoy 100km of low-traffic twisted, with a generally superb surface. This road is great as it offers you the possibility to cater differing riding styles and speeds. On the way to the Phu Chi Fah area will have a short stop to lunch. With the batteries recharged we enjoy riding through this magnifique area surrounded by breathtaking views. We’ll end the day is Chiang Khong, right on the impressive Mekhong River.

DAY 4 CHIANG KHONG - CHIANG RAI

In the morning we take our bikes and we are ready for riding the next 50 km along the Mekhong River. After a short stop at the viewpoint we follow the road to reach the Golden Triangle, the place where the three countries of Myanmar (Burma), Laos and Thailand meet. Here we’ll enjoy a pleasant cruise on the river. After that we take our bikes and head west to the border town of Mae Sai. Those who want can cross the border in Myanmar to take a look over the market. We follow the road till our last destination, the city of Chiang Rai. Here we’ll have dinner and we’ll spend the following two nights.

DAY 5 CHIANG RAI

Today is a free day. Those who want to find out more about Chiang Rai culture can visit the some special temples. Or maybe there are persons that prefer laze by the pool. It is a free day so do whatever you want!

DAY 6 CHIANG RAI - FANG.

After a hearty breakfast we leave behind the lovely Chiang Rai and we’ll have a short blat north on the highway. After that we head to an amazing tea plantation. Today we will also experience probably the most technical riding and more scenic routes and views. Also we'll have the chance to meet the Lisu hill tribe kids in full costume. We’ll have lunch in a village populated by Kuo Ming. On the way to the riverside town of Thaton we’ll pass through the lovely Karen Long Neck village. We’ll see one of the areas with most spectacular temples. If the time allows us will ascending into the back hills for a ride close to the Burmese border, complete with Army checkpoints. Overnight will be in Fang.

DAY 7 FANG - CHIANG MAI

In our last day of the tour we’ll experience some of the most deserted roads in the area and we’ll heading up to the Royal Project area of Doi Ang Khang. After our last lunch together, we’ll follow the road till we reach Chiang Mai, the place where this great adventure begin.
