Day 1

Arrival in Yerevan and we’ll arrange transfer to hotel in Yerevan.

Day 2 Yerevan – Gyumri 170 km

Drive to Echmiadzin town – the religious center of all Armenians around the world. Here you will have a trip to Echmiadzin Cathedral and to Hripsime Church. Tour continues to the memorial complex Sardarapat which is an architectural complex built on the site of the Sardarapat battle and commemorating the victory over the Turkish army by Armenians in 1918.Then we drive to Gyumri – the second-largest city of Armenia.

Day 3 Gyumri – Haghpat 160 km

We leave from Gyumri to the Monastery of Marmashen, which dates back to X-XIII centuries. The monastery is an outstanding proof of medieval architecture. Drive to Alaverdi town where you will eat dinner in Flora Restaurant.

Day 4 Haghpat – Dilijan 150 km

We’ll take you to the monastery of Odzun belonging to the VI-th century. We move on to the town of Dilijan, known for its healing, filled with pine aromas air. Here you will have a tour to the monastery of Goshavank located near the town in the forest.

Day 5 Dilijan – Hermon 160 km

The day will start with a ride to the Lake Sevan. You will climb the high hill, where proudly rises the monastery of Sevanavank. It offers a breathtaking view of the lake and the surrounding beauty. Next on the list is the Ayravank Monastery located just along the southwest shores of Lake Sevan. Afterwards will go to the fortress of Berdkunk Drive to Selim Pass where in ancient times passed the famous Great Silk Road. Here lies Selim Caravanserai built to accommodate weary travelers and their animals as they crossed the pass. The final stop for the day is in Hermon.

Day 6 Hermon – Jermuk 65 km

The day will start with a trip to Karmrashen, which is situated in Vayots Dzor Province. The next point is Herher village. The tour continues to the city Jermuk, which is the most famous recreational area in Armenia.

Day 7 Jermuk – Goris 160 km

We start today with the Tatev Monastery, which stands on the edge of a deep gorge of Vorotan river. There is also a cableway between Halidzor and Tatev Monastery, which was recorded by Guinness World Records as the longest cable car in the world. Our next stop will be the city Goris, which is surrounded by tremendous large forests. The city offers an amazing panoramic view from the top. Khndzoresk is a small village in Syunik Province, but is has a lot to offer. The village is widely famous for its canyon with picturesque rock formations and ancient cave settlement.

Day 8 Goris – Yerevan 340 km

We ride to Yeghegnadzor, the capital of Vayots Dzor Province.Next we go to Vedi, a town in Ararat Province, which was originates since Urartian period. This town is famous for its wine Vernashen. Areni Cave is located in Areni, village of southern Armenia. In 2008, more than 5500 years old shoe was found in this cave during the excavations. After a long day, we return to Yerevan. As a last impression on this country, we will drive to Garni Pagan temple and Geghard Cave monastery.
