Tour Details:


Day 1: Johannesburg to Clarens (350 km)

Today is the first day of our journey. We take your bikes and ride till the small town of Clarens situated at the foothills of the Maluti Mountains. Here we’ll enjoy beautiful natural surroundings, such as another of its famous mountains, the Rooiberge. Some of the attractions in Clarens that shoudn’t be missed include the Art and Wine Gallery (439 square meters with amazing mountain views) and the Bashoto Cultural Village which nestles at the foot of huge sandstone mountains. At Mount Everest Game Reserve we’ll have the chance to see rhino, waterbuck and mounting zebra. Well ’stop for a visit at the Golden Gate national park, a stunning park, located about 20 km’s from Clarens . We’ll end the day with a stop at Clarens Brewery for a free tasting of craft beer and ciders.

Day 2: Clarens - Lesotho - Clarens (420 km)

After a tasty breakfast served at the famous 278 on Main Restaurant we take our bikes and head to the dramatic Sani Pass. We will continue our journey with a ride at the steep Moteng Pass in the Maluti Mountains of Lesotho at a height of 2820 meters above sea level. This pass connects the town of Butha-Buthe with the diamond mining town of Mokhotlong). What makes it so spectacular is that the pass climbs continuously for almost 25 km, gaining 1113 meters in the process. You can also find here the famous pony and horse riding trails through the mountains. If you want more adventure there is para-gliding, hang-gliding which will allow you the opportunity to admire the spectacular views of this amazing area. We’ll spend the night in a luxurious accommodation.

Day 3: Clarens to Underberg (440 km)

Today we leave behind the lovely town of Clarens and head to the foothills of uKhahlamba-Drakensberg. Here we’ll discover dusty roads, beautiful mountain streams and huge sandstone backdrops that created a lovely rural farm town named Underberg. The town is located in the Sani Saunter region, a true paradise for those who love adventure and outdoor holidays. We’ll ride to the Himeville Nature Reserve and the Swamp Nature Reserve near Pevensey where we can see the endemic wildlife and many bird species. We’ll spend the night in Underberg.

Day 4: Underberg to East London (540 km)

After a tasty breakfast, we take our bikes and ride to the city of East London on the southeast coast of South Africa in the Buffalo City Metropolitan Municipality of the Eastern Cape province. The city hosts the only river port from the country. Gonubie Beach is one of the best places from the Sunshine Coast. The access to the beach is along a raised boardwalk, from where you can watch dolphins and whales, surfers and windsurfers. The Lion Park is a place that surely deserves a visit. Here we’ll have the chance to see impressive predators like the white lions and two Bengal tigers! As the sun sets, we’ll end the day with a visit at The East London Aquarium, the oldest aquarium in South Africa.

Day 5: East London to Addo Elephant National Park (400 km)

Today we will have the chance to ride to the biggest and oldest park, the Addo National Elephant Park. Located at 200 kilometers from East London, this amazing park is home to some 450 elephants, lion, leopard, black rhino, cape buffalo, a variety of antelope and lions. The main attraction includes the Interpretive Centre at main camp and the picturesque Zuurberg Mountain. We’ll also see the rolling sand dunes of the Woody Cape section. We’ll spend the night at one of the luxurious Hotels.

Day 6: Addo Elephant National Park to Knysna (200 km)

This day we’ll discover Knysna, a lovely town famous for its oyster festival, friendly people and the most stunning views. The town is located along South Africa’s famous Garden Route in the Western Cape province. We’ll be amazed at Knysna Lagoon -the most beautiful lagoon estuary of the Garden Route. Afterthat we’ll enjoy a pleasant ride through the Waterfront with its many art galleries and eateries and along the banks of the Lagoon to the Heads. From here we can see the narrow stretch of water that has been the nemesis of many ships in the past.

Day 7: Knysna - Knysna

Today we will ride through the beautiful Garden Route National Park. Here we’ll enjoy the beautiful landscapes of the Wilderness region, an impressive suspension bridge, a delicious gastronomy and great wines. Riding towards Plettenberg Bay and The Crags you’ll find many interesting places such as the Packwood Wine & Country Estate, Luka Wines, Newstead Lund Family Vineyards and Bramon Wine Estate. Enjoy a pleasant ride on Prince Alfred Pass, mountain pass at an elevation of 1.038m above the sea level, located in the Western Cape, in South Africa. on the way, we will stop for a meeting Peggy, a very passionate painting artist that tells many tales of Africa people through her colorful and vibrant paintings. We’ll spend another wonderful night at Knysna.

Day 8: Knysna to Outdshoorn (250 km)

Today we’ll start the day with a visit at Safari Ostrich Farm in Oudtshoorn, Garden Route. In the present the place is a commercial ostrich breeding farm with many ostriches, in their different stages of development, to see. The next stop is the Cango Caves located, at the head of the amazing Cango Valley, in a limestone ridge parallel to the well-known Swartberg Mountains. Here we’ll find the finest dripstone caverns, with their vast halls and towering formations. We return to Outdshoorn to spend a pleasant evening and remain overnight.

Day 9: Outdshoorn to Cape Agulhas/Hermanus (450 km)

Today we’ll ride through the southern tip of the African continent and the beginning of the dividing line between the Atlantic and Indian Oceans-Cape Agulhas. Between June and December, you have the chance to admire the whale watching at Hermanus. We will spend a great afternoon discovering the boutique wine producers of the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley, a stunning region famous for its award winning cool climate pinot and chardonnays. This region is a delight to true wine connoisseurs that want to discover the diverse appeal of South African wines. Will spend some time walking through Hermanus Country Market, before ending this great day.

Day 10: Hermanus - Cape Town (270 km)

This is the last day of the tour. Once we arrived in Cape Town, a transfer will be arranged to take you at the airport.
